I sigh of relief was heard from the Great Lakes after Adam Schefter of ESPN reported today Randall Cobb and the Green Bay Packers agreed to a 4 year $40 million deal, keeping the power trio of him, Aaron Rodgers, and Jordy Nelson on the field together through at least 2018. A great career move by Cobb to stay with one of history’s greatest quarterbacks, and off the Raiders’ roster – a team that thinks improving their bottom line is more about the city they play in than the product they put on the field.
You can read my thoughts about the disappearing act that would have happened to Cobb’s career had he packed his bags for the West Coast here.
